The Valve Index Base Station 2.0 takes tracking quality to the next level, offering an extended range, a wider field of view, and the ability to support up to four Base Stations in a single setup. This enables a larger play area and minimizes occlusion for a more immersive VR experience.
These Base Stations are compatible with any headset that supports SteamVR Version 2.0 tracking, including the Valve Index Headset and HTC Vive Pro. Additionally, they work seamlessly with controllers that support SteamVR Version 2.0 tracking, such as the Valve Index Controllers and HTC Vive Pro Controllers.
However, Valve Index Base Stations are not compatible with the original standard edition of HTC Vive products.
